Dec. 17, 2010 -- The New York Times reports that Rep. Paul Ryan has been tapped by Republican leadership to head the House Budget Committee in the 112th Congress. Ryan represents Wisconsin's 1st District, which includes Burlington and Kenosha. Rep. Ryan is currently the ranking minority member on the Budget Committee.
