Gordon Moore (Moore’s Law) and James Cameron Put Up $1 Million each to Oppose Prop. 23

Oct. 18, 2010 - Film director James Cameron and tech visionary Gordon Moore put up a combined $2 million in opposition to Prop. 23 since last Friday. As of noon on Oct. 18, contributions opposing Prop. 23 are up to $26.7 million, based on the latest filings from the California Secretary of State. The following individuals and organizations have made large donations in the past couple of days to help defeat the measure aimed at repealing California's climate change legislation AB 32:

  • National Wildlife Federation ($3,000,000)
  • Director James Cameron ($1,000,000)
  • Intel co-founder Gordon Moore ($1,000,000)
  • ClimateWorks Foundation ($900,000)
