Dec. 3, 2010 - According to the Sacramento Bee's Torey Van Oot, California Republican Dan Lungren has been named the Chairman of the House Administration Committee for the 112th Congress.
The committee is "charged with the oversight of federal elections and the day-to-day functions of the House of Representatives, " according to the Committee on House Administration Republican Office Web site.
