Oct. 26, 2010 - The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association made an additional contribution to oppose Prop. 25 of close to $125,000 yesterday, bringing their total contributions to approximately $433,000. Oct. 25, 2010 - Chevron gave $1.25 million late last week to support Prop. 26, making them the largest contributor to the campaign with a total of $3.75 million in contributions. The California Chamber of Commerce, the second largest contributor, has given over $3.5 million, including a $250,000 contribution on Friday. The Prop. 26 opposition received another $300,000 from the No on Prop. 23 committee of the League of Conservation Voters which gave a total of $600,000 last week.
