Aug. 9, 2010 - The Washington Post reported on Monday that Verizon and Google have negotiated an agreement regarding prioritizing the tranmission of certain content over the Internet. On Friday, rumors of an impending deal had scuttled net neutrality discussions the Federal Communications Commission had been conducting, according to Politico.

Aug. 5, 2010 - Since the 2002 election cycle, PACs associated with PMA Group have given 1,199 contributions totaling $1,214,748 to elected members of Congress who have served in the 109th, 110th and 111th congresses. In that same time frame, members of the Magliocchetti family, including Paul, gave close to a half a million dollars to members of Congress elected since the 109th Congress.
