Nov. 4, 2012—A MapLight analysis of campaign finance data from the Federal Election Commission shows Tammy Baldwin (D) has raised $11,252,928 to Tommy Thompson's (R) $6,517,908 in the Wisconsin Senate race. Baldwin's total ranks her 12th of all 219 senatorial candidates running in the November 6 election. Thompson is ranked 29th.

Nov. 4, 2012—A MapLight analysis of campaign finance data shows Dean Heller (R) has raised $8,797,661 to Shelley Berkley's (D) $8,685,054 in the Nevada Senate race. Heller's total ranks him 19th of all 219 senatorial candidates running in the November 6 election. Berkley is ranked 20th.

CA Prop. 32 Funding: Prohibits Political Contributions by Payroll Deductions – $103.7M Raised

Oct. 18, 2012—MapLight Voter's Edge for California profiles the funding behind CA Proposition 32. The proposition, if passed, would prohibit unions from using payroll-deducted funds for political purposes and applies the same use prohibition to payroll deductions, if any, by corporations or government contractors. It also prohibits contributions from unions, corporations, or government contractors to candidates and their committees. A MapLight analysis shows $45.6 million has been raised on the "Yes" side and $58.1 million on the "No" side.
